Designed and woven at Material Technology and Logistics for their 2019 Proposte presentation. These cut-and-loop velvets use custom planted bobbin layouts with varied yarn types and colors across three mixing creel frames to create richly varied but subtle surfaces that mimic the look of overdyed carpets. New weaves were explored to achieve multiple depths in the line work.
